Santa Paula Unified School District discovered the availability of a non-authorized mobile application for download and use with Student Connect.  This app was made available through the Google Play Store. The use of this app claims to allow students to login and check grades, assignments, class information, etc. However, this app was not created nor approved by SPUSD or the Student Connect software creator. Due to security concerns, the Technology Department strongly recommends that this mobile app not be utilized. For questions, please call Christian Baker at the Technology Office at (805) 933-8830.

Whooping cough (Pertussis) has been widespread in California. Many students have had to miss school because they were sick. To help protect your children and others from whooping cough, a California law now requires students to be vaccinated against whooping cough. For the 2015-2016 school year, all students entering 7th grade will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster shot (Tdap) before starting school. By law, students who do not have proof of receiving a Tdap booster shot will not be able to start school until proof is provided to the school. (The tetanus-diphtheria booster short, Td, will not meet the requirement.)
