    Mr. Ed Cora

    Appointed as District Superintendent

    The Santa Paula Unified School District Governing Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Ed Cora as the Permanent Superintendent, effective July 1, 2018.    His experience and credentials are a great match for our Santa Paula Unified community. He is known for his outreach to community, his desire to accelerate student achievement while creating a strong team, with the focus always on student performance.   Click Here for Press Release

    Mrs. Christine Schieferle

    Interim Superintendent

    The Santa Paula Unified School Board along with ​our new superintendent, ​Mr. Ed Cora​,​​are proud to name Mrs. Christine Schieferle, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, as ​our Acting Superintendent beginning April 9 ​through June 30, 2018.  ​Mrs. Schieferle will serve in a dual role until Mr. Cora officially begins his work on July 1, 2018.  Mr. Cora will be working with Mrs. Schieferle most Wednesdays during May and June as he transitions into the district.

  • Santa Paula High School Student Wins in Hackathon by the Sea!

    A hackathon is a coding event in which teams "hack" together to create an awesome project like a game, website, or app.  Hackathon by the Sea is a full, 21-hourhackathon! Held annually on the first Friday and Saturday of December, this event is open to all Ventura County 9-12th graders.
