  • Math Resources

    SPUSD uses the California State Common Core Standards for Mathematics. Students will be taught and graded on these standard which will help prepare them for life after high school.

     

    Online Curriculum

    Elementary

    ThinkCentral is used in the elementary schools as a digital component to support the Common Core Math Standards. Students will need to know their log-in information to access the material. Please speak with your students teacher for that information.

    Additional Resources

    McGraw-Hill Fact Dash Parents and students can use this site to review math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a combination of these skills.

    Khan AcademyKhan Academy focuses on interactive videos and practice exercises that support your child’s learning at her own pace. The activities are simple enough for your child to do on her own but also challenging enough to push her to learn more. Recommended for Kindergarten and up.

     

    Middle School/High School

    CPM is Isbell Middle School's online curriculum which aligns with the Common Core Math State Standards. Students will need to know their log-in information to access the material. Please speak with your students teacher for that information.

     YouCube Dr. Joe Boaler formed youcubed to give teachers, parents and students the resources and ideas they need to inspire and excite students about mathematics.

    High School

    Pearson Easybridge MyPerspectiveis the districts high school online curriculum which aligns with the Common Core ELA State Standards. Students will need to use their school Gmail log-in information to access the material.

    iLit is the districts online curriculum for Newcomer ELD. This is the student link for access to the online program.

    Khan Academy This site is excellent for both instructional videos and the practice exercises. Students can work at their own pace and move along sequentially through different subjects in math.

    Starfall This site is one of the best resources for working on reading and writing skills in the K-5 grade levels.
