Friday, August 7, 2020 – Last day to Declare Candidacy

 Candidacy Papers are available at:

Ventura County Elections Division, 800 S. Victoria Avenue, Ventura CA

Anyone interested in running for office please refer to the County Website  Or call (805)654-2664, for any questions.  They are encouraging as much “Contactless Candidate Filing” as possible, and are heavily encouraging appointments. During the filing period we will update daily the Candidate List here =  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

History of the Establishment of Trustee Areas

The Santa Paula Unified School District District ("District") Board of Trustees is in the process of changing from at-large elections to by-trustee area elections for members of the Governing Board. If approved, the change will go into effect starting with the November 2020 elections for the Board of Trustees. Currently, the District's five-member Board of Trustees is elected by voters across the entire District. Starting with the elections in November 2020, members of the Board of Trustees would only be elected by voters who reside in the areas that Board members are elected from.   For more information please see the attached documents and maps.
